Continued exploration of watercolors...

I was invited to be a part of a show at Scope curated by David Hunt called CHIMERA. It features large scale works installed around Scope by 15 artists. Here is my piece, "Volcano", 120" x 72", acrylic and spraypaint on wood panel, 2009. This image is tiny, and the painting is huge. Come see the work in person if your around...

Thanks!
Great Stuff! The watercolors are quite good as well, although probably out of my price range still. Keeping my fingers crossed that one of them makes it to a giclee. Wonderful work as always.
ReplyDelete"volcano" NEEDS to be a print (1/4 scale ?)
ReplyDeleteand it NEEDS to be on my wall !
These are quite beautiful & interesting. Love them!
ReplyDeleteBy the way - I decided recently to drastically cut back on my internet use and culled the list of sites I check regularly down from 60 or so to about 5. You made the cut! Thanks for continuing to post up interesting & inspiring work!
The bear in watercolors, makes me think about a character of Murakami ... I don't know why...
ReplyDeleteStill in love with your painting.
